About Sizable Energy
Sizable Energy is an innovative deep-tech startup pioneering offshore pumped-brine PHES (Pumped-Hydro Energy Storage). Our revolutionary approach offers a scalable, sustainable solution to balance variable renewable energy sources globally. By leveraging components from established offshore wind and marine industries, we are positioned to become a leader in the Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) market.
The Role
As we accelerate our commercialization roadmap, we are seeking a Project Manager to guarantee the advancement of technical projects and experimental campaigns. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of the order, integrating time and cost management with a strategic vision of corporate goals and procurement. Beyond project management activities, you will support the development of a robust supply chain through the research and selection of the most suitable technological partners, the coordination of laboratories and universities, and other actors involved in project progress, managing planning, costs, risks, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
You will coordinate technical projects ensuring alignment between engineering requirements and supply chain execution:
- Project & Campaign Management: Define comprehensive project plans, monitoring milestones, budget allocation, resources, and deliverables for technical projects and experimental campaigns.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Manage communication flows between engineering teams (defining specifications) and external suppliers, including universities and research centers, acting as the primary point of contact for resolving technical and planning issues.
- Progress Monitoring: Actively track the progress of supply projects in terms of time, cost, and quality, managing any critical issues, delays, or deviations in close coordination with the technical team.
- Strategic Sourcing: Research and qualify new global suppliers for critical components within the offshore, naval, and energy sectors.
- Procurement Execution: Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ), analyze proposals, prepare Purchase Orders (PO), and manage economic and contractual negotiations for strategic goods and services.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, evaluating their reliability, production capacity, and quality standards.
- Technical & Contractual Alignment: Collaborate with engineering (CFD, Mechanical) to translate technical requirements into clear Technical Purchase Specifications, and prepare/negotiate contractual agreements (T&C) to manage project and supply risks.
- Quality & Operations Support: Monitor production progress at supplier sites to ensure delivery deadlines are met and support the technical team in quality assurance activities (non-conformity management, acceptance tests, inspections).
- Documentation Management: Ensure all project and purchasing documentation (technical, contractual, progress reports) is complete, tracked, and correctly archived.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in learning Sizable Energy's specific technologies and stay updated on market trends and best practices in Project Management and Supply Chain.
